Mr. Bradley maintains a small and exclusive private studio for intermediate and advanced students, alongside a limited number of beginners (including adult beginners), in the disciplines of violin, conducting, composition, and music theory—including preparatory coursework for AP Music Theory and conservatory entrance examinations.
Underscoring his commitment to cultivating exceptional musical proficiency, acceptance into the studio is contingent upon a rigorous audition. Beginners are assessed through foundational musicianship tests and an interview.
Mr. Bradley has worked with thousands of professional young and adult string players across the United States, some among the most visible artists in their field. Advanced students who demonstrate exceptional skill and readiness may receive opportunities for engagement with professional local ensembles and/or studio sessions.
For younger students, a guardian must be present during lessons.
Private lessons are scheduled at least once weekly, and—when required for auditions and/or competitions—twice weekly. Instruction is delivered in the student's home, individually tailored, offered in forty-five to ninety-minute sessions (depending on the age/level of the student), structured in sequences of either four or eight lessons per month. Ninety-minute lessons are valued at $200 each (or pro-rated accordingly). In furtherance of Mr. Bradley's dedication to developing outstanding talent regardless of background or circumstance, a limited number of scholarships are available.
Remote lessons via Zoom are available for students not local to Los Angeles.
Studio policy is simple: Payment for the following month's lessons are due in the last week of the preceding month. Should there be a need to reschedule, such amendments are accommodated through mutual concordance with Mr. Bradley. Please be mindful that lessons foregone without due notice of twenty-four hours will be respectfully regarded as chargeable.
